Entrance Doors
The type of front door you choose can influence the way people feel about a property. Nothing evokes a sense of quality like a wooden front door. Not only do they look beautiful; the feel, the weight and the movement all contribute.
Between them our members have years of experience in the design and manufacture of entrance doors. Whether you’re looking for a replacement Victorian door for your home, or are specifying a contemporary entrance for a commercial project, our members will be able to help. When buying from a Wood Window Alliance (WWA) member you buy with confidence, knowing that they meet our standards, have relevant test certification and come with supplier-backed guarantees.
High security as standard
An entrance door from a WWA member combines style with security. Regardless of the design chosen, all wooden front doors have multi-point locking and leading cylinder locks and meet PAS 24 as standard and Part Q as specified. Depending on your needs, different locking systems can be incorporated and there is the option of pairing with electronic access control. For more information, visit the Security Benefits page.
The design of wooden front doors
With a number of glazing, ironmongery and colour options (paint and stain), our members can provide a door that meets your exact brief. Broadly speaking, the following door styles are offered:
- Georgian Doors
- Victorian Doors
- Edwardian Doors
- 20s & 30s Doors
- Cottage Doors (including Stable Doors)
- Contemporary Doors
All doors styles can incorporate glazing, with our members offering the choice of etched, sandblasted and stained glass. Plus, all can be finished as dual colour, allowing the interior of the door to match the existing décor of the property.
