Developers & Contractors
To exceed your client expectations, it’s crucial to partner with the right suppliers. When specifying windows and doors for a project, you may choose to outsource as part of a joinery fit-out package, or go direct to a supplier. Whichever route you choose, you can rely on our members to help.
Specifying windows and doors
Regardless of the scale or complexity of the challenge in hand, Wood Window Alliance (WWA) members will provide window and door solutions that ensure long-term value. Supported by supplier-backed guarantees, windows and doors made to WWA standards do not require laborious maintenance, with redecoration needed only once a decade.
Depending on project requirements, our members can provide a complete solution from design through to installation. Alternatively, a supply-only package can be provided. What’s important is that the windows and doors perform to the required standards. From student accommodation to social housing to hospital refurbishments, each project will have specific needs. Having years of experience between them, our members can advise on performance requirements, such as energy efficiency, acoustic levels and security.
For those projects that demand replica windows and doors for the sympathetic restoration of listed properties, or those located in Conservation Areas, some members offer specialist heritage designs. For more information, visit our dedicated page on Conservation.
A sustainable and safe supply chain
Not only do our members meet exacting product standards, they are responsible in their approach to manufacturing and supply. Timber is sourced only through the FSC® or PEFC™ Chain of Custody certification schemes. As a requirement of membership, policies relating to health & safety and the environment are audited.
