Our Sectors

It can be difficult to source the right supplier for your project. Whether you’re a homeowner looking for replacement timber windows or a contractor working on a multi-use commercial development in a Conservation Area, you’ll be looking for a company you can trust to meet your specific needs.

Wood Window Alliance members have a wealth of experience working across all sectors. They will guide you along the specification process, ensuring you get the right windows and doors delivered on time and to budget. Along the journey, if you require they will advise on how design and choice of glazing might impact thermal and acoustic performance.

Many of our members offer a full end-to-end package encompassing consultation, design, manufacture and installation. It just depends on your project requirements, as you may only need manufacture and supply. Regardless of project size, you can be assured that our members will only supply beautiful timber windows and doors made to the highest standards.

How our members add value to different projects is summarised below.

Developers & Contractors

Our members have years of experience across a variety of projects – education, health, leisure, retail, housing and commercial. They will design and manufacture high performance products to help you deliver successful projects that exceed client expectations for years to come.

Architects & Specifiers

Having worked across various sectors – commercial, education, social housing, domestic, heritage and conservation – our members work with clients to deliver beautiful timber windows and doors that contribute to the overall efficiency and practicality of a building. Standard timber window and doors can be customised to realise your design.

Conservation Officer

The question of whether to repair or replace timber windows and doors on a listed property or those located in a Conservation Area, can be a contentious issue. Recognising this, a group of WWA members have invested in a specialist range of heritage designs to provide sympathetic replacement of timber windows and doors in listed properties.

Social Housing

With factory finished wood windows and doors there is no longer the need to worry about costly upkeep, making them the most cost effective solution for social housing projects. Our members will work with social landlords and housing associations on refurbishment and new build projects.

Home Owners

Choosing the right window for your home is key to its efficiency and the overall appearance. Our members manufacture made-to-measure wood windows and doors to suit a variety of property types. From sensitive restoration projects in Conservation Areas to contemporary new builds, our members will be able to help.
